Turning the Baby Corner

Sometime in the past week and a half we've turned the baby corner.  Suddenly, we have a kid on the move who is into everything.  EVERYTHING people!  He is rolling and rolling and scooting and pulling.  I've rearranged the entire downstairs to get all the dangerous teeny things out of the boy's path.  I've also acknowledged that all the little baby baby gear needs to go.  The swing?  Gone.  (Recalled) Bumbo?  Gone.  It's the boy versus us and all the crap the girls leave on the floor.

In addition, the boy has decided that his baby food is, well, for babies.  Ever since I introduced the puffs, he's been shunning the baby food.  And, let me be clear, he is awful at getting those puffs into his mouth.  I can give him thirty and he might get two in his mouth.  He loves them though.  They get stuck to his cheeks, his hands, his head, his seat, and just about every surface imaginable.  The second he sits down, he's demanding puffs.  Needless to say, Slick loves this puff business.  However, I am not a fan of the gummy, gooey mess he makes.

I can't believe we are already ushering a moving baby into our home.  This is flying by.

It is surreal that baby Blue is already rendering infant items obsolete.

The pictures with his facial expressions are the best! "Hi mom, why the concern?".

Puffs are one of the coolest food items invented.

Every time you do a post about how big he is, I think about how I found out I was pregnant the day he was born and I am astounded.
