- I'm happy to report that we have some smiles today. They are few and far between, but we have smiles again.
- Sick babies are heartbreaking. I hate the helpless feeling of not knowing how they really feel or what they need.
- I had a teacher conference with Tot's teacher yesterday. Despite some of our concerns, her teacher is not at all worried about her progress at this point.
- All winter we have seen major snowstorms just barely miss us. All winter there have been close calls, rain events, and promises of snow that resulted in absolutely nothing. Now there is another storm brewing for next week. I'll bet it misses us yet again.
- Because I am a dummy, I decided to challenge myself by signing up for the Tough Mudder. I'm up to running two miles, which is a miracle for me, and I have to say, I hate running now more than ever. Stupid.

I hate running too.
When I went to Subway today, the woman asked me if I had snow on my car this morning. And by snow, she meant a light frost. Ah, Georgia.
Your running bullet makes me laugh. At least the Tough Mudder is not all about running. You've got ice cold water, electric shock (!!!??) and MUD to look forward too!
All I've got to say is Mother Nature owes us and this storm better not miss us. Even if its only 6-8 inches I'll be happy but 2 feet would be awesome!!
When's your Mudder? Hubby signed us up for a mud race in May, it's going to be a long two months of "training"
That's awesome that you are doing that event.
